When family is the foundation for what you do, then doing it best comes naturally. Our story begins back in 1959 with a young boy who dreamed of being a farmer. Raised by his grandparents, they took his dream to heart, and when the opportunity presented itself, they were able to purchase a dairy farm from a friendly neighbor. From there, our history took root.
In the mid 80s, the young boy, now a grown man, saw a new opportunity and, along with our family, transformed the dairy into fields of berries. We’ve been passionate about our fruit ever since.

At Columbia Fruit, we harvest and package fresh frozen fruit with hard work and loving care. Our premium fruit is picked at the peak of ripeness and then flash frozen to lock in all the nutrients, antioxidants, pure flavor and freshness. Sustainable methods, state-of-the-art food safety technology and a family who truly cares are all the pieces that work together to bring you the best of the Pacific Northwest.

Certifications.
BRC Global Standards
Global Food Safety Initiative Standard. It is one of the highest food safety standards in the berry industry.
Annual USDA Inspections
We are also inspected annually by the United States Department of Agriculture. Although our specifications may exceed USDA specifications, we use the principles outlined by the USDA for quality control.
GAP Certified
We practice good agricultural practices and have been audited and certified by the Oregon Department of Agriculture.
Certified Organic
We are certified by Oregon Tilth Inc., the local certifying body for the USDA’s organic program for Custom Packaging, as well as Processing Organic Food.
Annual WSDA Inspections
We are inspected annually by the Washington State Department of Agriculture.
Kosher Pareve
Kosher certification is through the North American Kosher Supervision.
