Cherry Berry Blend Compote

Ingredients:
- 7oz Columbia Fruit frozen Cherry Berry Blend
- zest and juice of 1 orange
- 7oz granulated sugar
Preparation:
- Place the berries, orange juice and zest into a heavy-bottomed pan and bring to the boil.
- Reduce the heat until the berries are at a rolling simmer.
- The berries will release quite a bit of juice so leave to simmer until the liquid has reduced by half.
- Increase the heat again until the berries are boiling and stir in the sugar, then cook for about five to ten minutes, stirring, until the sugar is completely dissolved.
- Take off the heat and leave to cool.
